Shellhead Mutants
Following the 1992 disintegration of Naked Ape, Doc abandoned his populist aspirations and assembled a band of ugly guys to make ugly music about their ugly day jobs. With Corn Man and his old friend Roy Baleen Fluke, the Mutants chewed up and spat out 3 bass players (Rusty Eelcloud, Johnny Prong Lobster and Sonny Carl Longboats aka Anatol Sucher) and recorded two full-length releases without ever playing out much or generating even the slightest buzz. Third full-length compilation coming soon on Gray Area.

From the notebooks of Roy Baleen Fluke: "During the 27th century the shellhead mutants became the dominant life form on the planet Earth. Environmental degradation and societal collapse led to the evolution of these humanoid crustacean vegetables. Their main pleasure was harassing the pitiful remains of the human race that had spawned them. But with so few humans left, the shellhead mutants began to develop a primitive telepsychic ability, by which they were able to project their minds into hapless late 20th-century musicians, to torment the humans with a vision of what was to come..." The debut release from the Shellhead Mutants is full of fun songs about the decline and inevitable destruction of the human race, with a hard guitar-based edge.
